Portland Design Week Posters
— “We are in uncharted territory. What’s our role in the changing political, social, economic, and environmental landscape, as designers?” This was the question posed to the designers of Wieden+Kennedy’s Studio from the organizers of Design Week Portland in the Spring of 2017. Our response to the question emerged as a large number of posters of varied subject matter. We wheatpasted the posters on the building across the street from the agency, rather than just having a show in our gallery space, in order to extend the conversation to the entire Portland community. We also invited them into our gallery space to take some smaller copies of the posters for themselves.
